Bringing your ideas for your garden to life
Having worked as a graphic designer for many years and having a passion for gardening it was quite natural to extend my design skills to garden design and planning. I have over 20 years experience in garden maintenance and design together with a RHS Level 2 certificate in Garden Planning, Establishment and Maintenance.
Redesigning your garden should be a joy to do but can be daunting to do yourself. I can make the whole process go smoothly leaving you to enjoy the design process and plant selections without any stress.
New Project
It all starts with a visit to your garden to see and discuss what you have and what you would like in terms of design and planting. I will then do a site survey to establish any existing features, such as trees, favourite plants, drains, fences, access to the garden etc. A soil test, shade and sun areas etc will all be noted.
Design and implementation
I will then create a design drawn to scale based on my findings and your input which we will then discuss. Then a detailed plan for contractors to follow for hard landscaping (paths, etc) complete with material suggestions. After that sourcing plants and planting out will bring the whole garden to life.
